Each birdhouse is handcrafted from salvaged or rough-cut cedar and bark.
No two birdhouses are the same, ensuring a unique piece of art with every purchase. I hand carve the tree spirits and sentinels, gnomes, mushrooms, and woodland creatures that bring these birdhouses to life. To further enhance the natural aesthetic, I incorporate responsibly gathered tree branches, driftwood, twigs, rocks, real moss, fungi, and lichen. My commitment to sustainability is reflected in the use of organic and recycled materials throughout the creation process.

Designed for Small Songbirds:
This birdhouse is ideally suited for small songbirds such as nuthatches, chickadees, titmice, wrens, warblers, finches, and other small feathered friends.
It features a 1-1/4" entrance hole, designed to keep larger birds out while welcoming your favorite songbirds.

Protective and Practical Features:
Your birdhouse has a predator guard (the metal circle that covers the entrance hole) to deter predators from chewing the entrance hole and reaching into the nest. Ventilation holes ensure a steady flow of fresh air, preventing overheating on warm summer days, while drainage holes allow rainwater to escape, keeping the interior dry and mold-free.
A convenient side clean-out door makes seasonal maintenance a breeze.

Easy Installation:
Mounting your birdhouse is simple, thanks to the fixing hole on the back, which allows for secure attachment to a tree, fence, wall. You can also mount it to a pole by driving a screw from the bottom inside the birdhouse into a pole. Each birdhouse comes with all the necessary instructions and hardware, ensuring that you can hang it properly and with ease.

Natural Aesthetic

Since the moss I use is entirely natural, it may experience some fading or discoloration over time, depending on where the birdhouse is placed.
Exposure to sunlight, moisture levels, and the surrounding environment all play a role in how the birdhouse will age. In some cases, when conditions are just right, the moss can continue to grow, adding a living, evolving element to your birdhouse. This natural aging process enhances the rustic charm, making each birdhouse even more unique as it blends into its environment.
